If your device does not have a built-in call recorder or your device has a Google dialer, you can record your calls using the Salestrail APK. In addition to the Salestrail app downloaded from the Play Store, you will need to install the Salestrail Recorder APK via this link: salestrail.io/apk2.
To download the APK, copy and paste salestrail.io/apk2 into your browser.
You will then have two apps on your device: the Salestrail app and the Salestrail Recorder app. No activity happens on the Salestrail recorder once it is set up. All activity and logs will happen on the main app. The APK sole purpose is to enable recording to take place.
The Salestrail Recorder APK also supports recording WhatsApp and WhatsApp Business calls.
For some newer devices, prior to installing the Salestrail Recorder, you may need to enable the installation of apps from unknown sources. Here's how:
Go to your device's Settings.
Navigate to "Security and Privacy."
Look for an option labeled "Install Unknown Apps."
Enable the source you intend to use for downloading the Salestrail Recorder. For instance, if you're using Chrome or WhatsApp for downloading, make sure to enable the respective source.
Step 1:
Download the Salestrail Recorder. You will have to change your Android settings to allow installing an APK solution.
Note for Android 13 and 14 users:
Android 13 and 14 devices have additional security measures. When you attempt to select Salestrail Recorder in the settings screen, your phone may display a message about restricted settings.
To address this issue, follow these steps:
Open your device settings
Go to the Apps section
Select the Salestrail recorder
In the upper right corner, tap on the three dots icon
Select Allow restricted settings
After setting up your Salestrail Recorder and granting accessibility permissions:
Tap on Accessibility settings
Tap in Installed apps/Downloaded Apps
Tap on Salestrail recorder and turn on the accesibiliity
Open the Salestrail recorder apk and choose the best recording source. We recommend you start with Voice recognition as it works the best.
To link both apps, simply open the main app after you have finished installing the APK.
Step 2: Go to Salestrail, click on Recording Settings
Step 3:
Open the recording Settings
Select "Use Salestrail Call Recorder"
Select "Use Salestrail Call Recorder" for Whatsapp call recording if you intend to record your Whatsapp or Whatsapp Business Calls.

Click on the call for more options.
TIP: To ensure that calls are recorded without fail, both Salestrail app and Salestrail recorder app should be running in the background. Remove all battery restrictions and optimizations on your device to keep both apps from being put to sleep.
