How to Record SIM/GSM Calls Using Your Device Built-in Call Recorder

If your device has a built-in recorder, You can use it to record your GSM/SIM calls.

Points to Note:

  1. Not all devices have a built-in call recorders. If your device lacks this feature, you can use the Salestrail recorder APK to record your calls.

  2. Whatsapp and Business Whatsapp calls cannot be logged via your built-in recorder. If you intend to record your Whatapp calls, on a device that has built-in call recorder, you will also need to install the Salestrail APK recorder.

To record your calls using the built-in call recorder, you will first need to enable it.

  1. Open your phone dialer

  2. Tap on the three lines or dots in the top right corner (on Samsung/Oppo/Realme) or in the bottom left corner (on Xiaomi).

  3. Select "Settings."

  4. Choose "Call Recording."

  5. Enable "Record Calls Automatically."

  6. Open Salestrail and make a test call. The recording should be visible in both the app and the Call Analytics dashboard.

Go to the Salestrail app settings and tap on Recording Settings.

  1. Enable call recordings

  2. Select 'use built in call recorder'

Note: If you wish to record your WhatsApp calls, select "Use Salestrail Call Recorder" in the last section, as your built-in recorder cannot record WhatsApp calls. You will then need to install the Salestrail Recorder APK to record WhatsApp and WhatsApp Business calls.

TIP: To ensure that calls are recorded without fail, both Salestrail app should be running in the background. Remove all battery restrictions and optimizations on your device to keep the app from being put to sleep.
